![]() ![]() I am lucky I had Skype credit that allowed me to make the call or I could have been completely unable to contact Prime Time. I was forced to return inside the terminal to access wifi to contact the prime time team via phone. As an international guest, this was highly inconvenient because I had no cell phone service. What a bad mistake! Upon arrival at the airport in terminal 6, I was unable to contact Prime Time because there was no attendant or functioning tablet at the prime time stop. ![]() I usually just use SuperShuttle but decided to give Prime Time a go. Same as #1 - DON'T book this service unless you really, really have to! There are many more reliable shuttle services, UBERs and taxis in LA 8. Hotels are well aware of the reputation of Prime Time 7. Contact your hotel/motel to let them know that you may be a bit late checking in (you don't want to loose your booking because of the fault of Prime Time) 6. Read the fine print in the documentation - you will need to download an APP onto your cell/mobile phone - if you don't have a cell phone, then you are already in trouble!! 5. Take a packed lunch as you may have to wait a while 4. if you have unfortunately booked them, make sure to contact them on arrival to let them know you are ready for pick-up - DON'T assume they know you are ready 3. DON'T, unless you realty have to (consider them as a last resort!) 2. Here are tips to remember if you have decided to book Prime Time: 1. c) Most shuttle services at LAX have a representative waiting at the allocated shuttle stop to assist with customers BUT NOT PRIME TIME - there is only an empty chair chained to the Prime Time shuttle stop. As instructed in the booking documentation, we contacted them to say we were ready for pick-up and were informed that the driver would be there in about 20 minutes, we were left waiting for nearly 2 hours. $35 down the drain and no offer of refund for the MEET & GREET NO SHOW b) After completing most of our holiday, we flew from Buffalo back to LAX for the 2nd Prime Time pick-up and again we were let down. A very kind Limousine service driver of another shuttle service heard of our predicament and personally phoned Prime Time on our behalf to let them know we were ready for pick-up BUT we were directed to the Shuttle area outside the terminal to wait for our shuttle driver to take us to San Pedro. We waited another two hours but no-one showed up. We contacted the company as instructed in the documentation. Here are some things to consider before choosing Prime Time, based on our experience: a) On arrival at LAX airport for the 1st pick-up, we expected to see a Prime Time representative holding a card with our surname displayed for the MEET & GREET service but there was no driver waiting for us. On arrival at LAX for the 1st visit, we soon realised our mistake. BTW - make yourself a cup of tea/coffee - this is a long but informative review A couple of months before leaving Australia we booked this service for two occasions whilst touring around USA (along with an extra US$35 for a MEET & GREET service inside the arrivals lounge for the 1st service). Prepare to be disappointed and angry if you booked this shuttle service. ![]() Before writing my review, I read some other reviews which actually mirrored our own experience. ![]()
